Hello Friends! My name is Tracy and I get my nickname “TazmanianTracy” because of my whirlwind of ideas and concepts. I am constantly thinking, creating and testing a “new favorite”. My body and brain are always on the go! I am a HUGE foodie and outdoor junkie. I worked in the restaurant industry for almost 30 years before starting my own successful business as a Personal Chef and Caterer. I recently purchased a High-Tech Freeze dryer and started a business Freeze Drying meals for backpackers or adventure junkies who are looking for lightweight, scratch made, high quality meals without additives or artificial colors or preservatives. Our Freeze Dried Food Business “Adventurous Foodie” soft launched in March of 2018, and we have a crew of Adventurous Foodie Field Taste Testers who are currently testing our meals and menu items and providing feedback. We plan to do a full launch in February 2019. We have started a wait list and are taking orders for certain food items and custom requests. This blog is intended to be for more personal content (not business), however the business site won’t launch until next year. In the meantime, please bear with me as I work on this blog publishing all my recipes, ideas, gardening, adventures etc. This is literally my very first blog, and as many of you can imagine, completing all these tasks seems insurmountable. By taking the leap and getting this started, I am hoping that your encouragement will give me the necessary gumption to continue adding content. Those of you who have followed my journey, know that I have been accumulating a lot of recipes, have a lot of adventures to share and hope that my content is well received.
